Welcome to Keiko’s Osaikumono homepage. Keiko is an artist/crafter of osaikumono, a traditional Japanese craft handed down from the Edo Period (1603-1867), which makes flowers, dolls, animals, and so on from kimono material. Originally, each was designed as a koto pick bag or an incense bag. Her studio is located in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. You can also see her beautiful work at many galleries and gift shops in Vancouver. |
